Improving the Patient Journey
Goshen Health, with its diverse healthcare offerings, recognized the need for a digital facelift to meet evolving patient needs and enhance overall support and security.
The project’s scope extended to crafting a user-centric content strategy, catering to a multilingual audience, including Spanish, and orchestrating an intuitive user experience across the vast website.
They approached Reusser to make this happen. This was a colossal project aimed at improving support, security, and accessibility on an enterprise level website spanning a staggering 7,000 pages and completing within 4 months.
Content Strategy
The foundation was laid with meticulous content strategy, involving the creation of user personas, multilingual capabilities, journey-based planning, and intuitive navigation.
While reviewing the Goshen Health website, we discovered that their team had been using the Health Library as a catch-all template for implementing additional pages. Our team conducted a comprehensive audit of the Health Library to realign it with its true intention – a searchable database of health-related topics that are directly linked to Goshen’s main service lines. This understanding of their content enabled us to create robust service line pillar pages, aiming to improve SEO, guide visitors through a more focused journey, and establish ourselves as trusted partners with Goshen Health to deliver long-term digital strategies.
The content integration seamlessly blended the extensive 7,000 page structure into a more manageable framework of 1,200 pages that became searchable, cohesive, and user-friendly.
User Experience Design (UX)
Designing the user experience was an art form, encompassing low fidelity wireframes, high fidelity wireframes with mobile designs, and a simplified design system shared with external teams.
The result was a responsive design with ADA implementation, ensuring inclusivity across all user interfaces.
Front & Back End Development
The technical prowess of SASS, responsive design, ADA compliance, and the integration of Craft CMS formed the backbone of the front and back-end development.
Feature development extended to innovative elements like on-demand PDF generation for a Provider Quick Guide, unique health library features and a robust, filterable search results page.
