2022 was a year of change. New brand. New site. New team members. Just like your company, we’re in a constant state of evolution. And that’s a good thing. Even though our services continue to grow, we remain the same reliable Reusser clients have trusted for more than two decades.

Creative

Branding is foundational, so we started there.

In January, we reintroduced ourselves with an updated logo, solidified core values, and a simplified name. These changes ensured that the Reusser brand matched who we are today, not who we were yesterday.

Next, we revamped our site. We took inspiration from the Swiss Style of design which uses bold typefaces and asymmetrical layouts. Our brand was woven throughout. Taking inspiration from our logo, we added dynamic angles that cut through many of our pages.

Case studies were one of the biggest areas of change. Rather than being overly reliant on text, we flipped the script, allowing the visuals and work samples themselves to tell the story.

Strategy

Great visuals are nothing without a strategy behind them. Step one was a user flow, which mapped out the structure of the entire site. We wanted a simplified experience that featured in-line links rather than drop-down navigation.

The updated site also features plenty of new additions, including downloadable resources. We added individual service pages to clearly articulate what we offer as well as pages for each team member. This helped to humanize us as a company and add a bit of personality. We also made it a point to incorporate more videos throughout the site.

Development

We pushed the design with some complicated angles that provided unique development challenges. But the time and effort were worth it because these lines emphasized the bold look we wanted. We also didn’t shy away from using ourselves as guinea pigs. This site was our first to fully utilize Cloudflare for static asset caching. Compared to other tools, this will provide clients with a better solution in the future.

Digital Marketing

Digital marketing is one of our fastest-growing services. To provide clients with the type of service they deserve, our own online presence tended to live on the back burner. In 2022, that changed.

We prioritized regularly posting on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. Our content provided education, showed our work, and offered a peek behind the scenes. In addition to building an audience, this consistent schedule allowed us to connect with clients and even celebrate some of their biggest wins.

But we didn’t limit ourselves to social media. We also published blog posts, sent a monthly email, and started creating our own in-house videos. This varied approach to content creation helped us reach business goals while also serving others.
